Festool TSV 60 KEBQ-Plus Circular saw with KickbackStop and pre-cutting function, 576730

Festool TSV 60 KEBQ-Plus Circular saw with KickbackStop and pre-cutting function.

The Festool TSV 60 KEBQ-Plus is a new standard in sawing, providing a perfect cut with no material tear-out the first time. This tool has been developed for professionals and enthusiasts for whom precision and perfect surface quality are paramount. Festool has been a trusted partner in precision sawing since 1980 and the TSV 60 K is the culmination of this experience, combining the precision of a stationary machine in the workshop with the mobility of a portable tool. Forget time-consuming machining and damaged materials – with this saw your work will be more efficient and the results will be outstanding.

Perfection with the first cut

The main advantage of the TSV 60 K is the integrated pre-cutter. This makes a small cut in the top layer of the material, such as laminate or veneer, before the main saw blade. As a result, the main blade does not encounter any resistance when making the full cut, which causes the material to break through. This technology guarantees an absolutely clean and smooth cutting edge on both sides of the workpiece. The included diamond pre-cutter saw blade ensures consistently high quality and a long service life.

Safety is a priority

Working with powerful tools requires the highest safety standards. Festool has equipped the TSV 60 K with the unique KickbackStop function. This intelligent technology immediately identifies a sudden kickback of the saw, which can occur when the saw is caught in the material. Within milliseconds it stops the saw blade, significantly reducing the risk of injury and protecting both you and the workpiece from damage. In addition, the high-speed brake ensures that the blade stops immediately after switching off the tool.

Key benefits and features

• No burrs: the pre-cutter function ensures a perfectly smooth cut edge on both sides when working on veneered or laminated boards.
• Long-lasting sharpness: The diamond pre-cutter saw blade guarantees long-lasting perfect cut quality and less frequent changes.
• One system – endless possibilities: The tool is fully compatible with Festool guideways (FS) for precise long cuts and cross-cut guideways (FSK) for fast and precise angle cuts.
• Versatility: sawing depths of up to 60 mm allow the processing of massive materials. The pre-cutting function also works on mitre cuts from 0° to 45°.
• Full control: both the pre-cutter and the main saw blade can be activated and deactivated manually, adapting the tool to the task.
• EC-TEC motor: The modern brushless motor combines impressive power with low energy consumption and a long service life, ensuring a smooth running even in hard materials.
• Easy maintenance: the FastFix spindle stop and the possibility to place the saw on its side make saw blade changes quick and easy.

How to use the TSV 60 K?

1. Preparation. If necessary, mount the saw on a Festool guide rail.
2. Activate the pre-cutter: If you are working with material that tends to burst, activate the pre-cutter function. This can be fine-tuned to the main saw blade for perfect results.
3. Making the cut: Make a precise plunge and cut. The KickbackStop function monitors your safety in the background. The EC-TEC motor maintains a constant speed, guaranteeing a clean cut throughout.
4. When you need to change the blade, use the FastFix system to lock the shaft. Place the saw on its side for easy access to both the main and pre-cutter blades.
