Usage

Surface preparation and application conditions: Mechanically remove peeling paint from previously painted surfaces. Surfaces painted with chalk or lime paint, as well as crumbling and highly absorbent surfaces, must be mechanically cleaned and primed with MICRO Tiefgrund. Disinfect moldy surfaces using a special agent according to the instructions for use. Areas damaged by moisture or yellowed by nicotine should be primed with a special primer. Prime metal parts or rusting screws with an anti-corrosion primer. Wash new galvanized surfaces with a suitable detergent and degreaser. Glossy and very smooth surfaces should be sanded to a matte finish with sandpaper. If necessary, use high-quality putty to fill and level the surface. The surface to be painted must be clean, dry, and uniform. During painting, the air and surface temperatures must be at least +5°C, and the air humidity must not exceed 80%.

Application: Mix the paint thoroughly before use. The paint is ready for use, but if necessary, it can be slightly diluted with water. To avoid differences in shade, mix the required amount of paint in one container, or continuously refill the paint container in use with paint from the next can. Paint with a brush or roller. When painting with a sprayer, dilute the paint with a bit of water. Repaint after 3 hours. Allow the surface to dry well before applying the next layer. To avoid paint joint lines, follow the “wet-on-wet” method when painting, applying the coating in one go without stops. Use enough paint on the roller so that the color is even. If you are right-handed, paint the wall from left to right across the entire surface from bottom to top. If you are left-handed, read from right to left. When painting the ceiling, use a cross pattern, but apply the last layer in the direction of the light.
