How-To Steps

1. Substrate Preparation: Ensure the wood surface is dry, clean, and free of dust, grease, and resin. For smooth, planed surfaces, sand in the direction of the grain using 120-grit sandpaper. Remove all sanding dust thoroughly.
2. Stirring: Stir the product well before use, avoiding air bubbles.
3. Application: Apply one even coat of Lignovit Interior UV 100 using a brush or professional spray equipment. Maintain a product, object, and room temperature of at least +10°C.
4. Drying: Allow the surface to dry for approximately 1 hour. Ensure adequate ventilation to facilitate drying.
5. Finishing: For most applications, one coat is sufficient. If a second coat is required for enhanced protection, a light intermediate sanding with 240-280 grit is recommended.
6. Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use.

Recommendations

For professional use only. Not suitable for colored hardwoods like Meranti or Mahogany. For old or steamed wood, consider other products from the ADLER range, such as Innenlasur or Legno-Aqua-Öl. Always perform a trial application on a sample piece of the original substrate to verify the final color and finish. Protect from frost and temperatures above 30°C during storage.
