How-To Steps

1. Substrate Preparation: Ensure the wood surface is dry, clean, and free from dust, grease, wax, and resin. For a uniform finish, sand smooth wood surfaces in the direction of the grain with 120 grit sandpaper. Remove sanding dust thoroughly.
2. Stirring: Stir the product well before use, avoiding the introduction of air bubbles.
3. Application: Apply one even coat of Lignovit Interior UV 100 using a brush, spray gun, or Vacumat system. Maintain a product, object, and room temperature of at least +10 °C.
4. Intermediate Sanding (Optional): If a second coat is required for deeper colour or protection, a light intermediate sanding with 240-280 grit sandpaper may be performed after the first coat is fully dry. Remove dust before recoating.
5. Cleaning: Clean tools immediately after use with water. For dried-on residue, use ADLER Aqua-Cleaner.

Recommendations

For professional and industrial use only. Not suitable for coloured hardwoods such as Meranti and Mahogany. For aged or steamed woods, we recommend alternative products like Innenlasur (5309) or Legno-Aqua-Öl (7030). To ensure colour consistency on large surfaces, use material from the same batch number. Always perform a trial coat on a sample piece of the original substrate to verify the final colour and finish.
