Usage

To maximize the performance and longevity of your Festool Cordless Jigsaw PSBC 500 EB-Basic, follow these recommendations:

• Blade Selection: Always choose the appropriate Festool jigsaw blade for your material to ensure clean cuts and efficient operation. Utilize the included WOOD FINE CUT S 75/2.5 for fine, precise cuts and WOOD UNIVERSAL S 75/4 FSG for general woodworking tasks.
• Pendulum Stroke Adjustment: Adjust the pendulum stroke setting based on the material. Use a higher setting for faster cuts in softer materials and a lower or no pendulum for finer, more precise cuts in hard materials or curves.
• Angle Adjustment: For accurate bevel cuts, easily adjust the saw table up to 45° and lock it in place. Ensure a secure 0° position for perfect 90° cuts.
• Dust Extraction: Connect to a Festool dust extractor via the CLEANTEC system. This keeps your workspace clean, improves visibility of the cutting line, and reduces airborne dust.
• Splinter Guard: Always use the included splinter guard to achieve tear-free edges, especially on sensitive or laminated materials. Position it flush with the workpiece.
• Secure Workpiece: Always clamp your workpiece securely to prevent movement during cutting, which can lead to imprecise results or kickback.
• Bluetooth® Connectivity: Link your jigsaw to the Festool App via Bluetooth for advanced monitoring, dust-extractor control, and access to additional product information and accessories.
