Product Description:

Hagmans Floor Paint 1K is a high-quality, water-borne polyurethane/acrylate diffusion paint designed for use on cement, wood, and fiberboard surfaces. Its durable formula provides excellent protection against wear and tear, making it ideal for both residential and light commercial applications. The paint’s good diffusion properties allow it to breathe, preventing moisture buildup and ensuring a long-lasting finish. Technical Specifications:

• Base: Polyurethane/acrylate
• Diffusion Characteristics: Permeable to water vapour at 2 coats, each 0.1 l/m2
• Specific Gravity: 1.2
• Curing Time: Allow approx. 3 hours of curing time before the next coat. The floor may be brought into use after 12 hours. Full wear strength 5–7 days.
• Lowest Surface Temperature: +5°C
• Gloss Value: Approx. 40 (half gloss)
• Material Consumption: 1 liter covers approx. 10m2/coat.
• Dry Content: Approx. 47% by weight

Coating System:

For improved dirt resistance, use Clear Lacquer 1K as a topcoat. For premises exposed to chemical handling, we recommend Hagmans Golvfärg EP-V.

Warnings:

• Turn off the floor heating before painting.
• New cement surfaces must have hardened for at least 1 week and be dry and free from dirt, oil, and similar.
• Ensure good ventilation during application. Do not apply if humidity exceeds 85% to prevent a matt and streaked surface.
• The cement film must be removed by grinding, sandblasting, or using an acid wash.
• Untreated wooden knots should be treated with knot lacquer, and then surfaces should be primed with wood/joinery primer to reduce the risk of staining from wood resins (this applies especially to wooden surfaces to be painted in white or light colors).
• When covering an existing paint, the surface must be ground matt, and all loose paint must be removed.
