Usage

Surface Preparation and Application Conditions

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and solid. Scrape off any loose, old plaster, chalk, or paint. If previously painted, wash surfaces with an appropriate cleaner and rinse thoroughly with water. If dense alkyd paint was previously used, remove it completely, as such paints hinder vapor evaporation and can cause damage. During application, the air and surface temperature must not be below +5°C, and air humidity should not exceed 80%. Highly absorbent surfaces like new plaster and concrete, or surfaces previously painted with mineral paints, can be primed with Mineral Primer for optimal results.

Application

Apply 1-2 coats using a brush, roller, or spray for complete coverage. If necessary, the paint can be diluted with water up to 10%. Avoid applying a thicker layer than required for good coverage, as excessive thickness can reduce the paint’s vapor diffusion properties. Do not paint on hot or sunlit surfaces, or late in the day when there is a risk of dew formation.

Surface Treatment and Cleaning

Surfaces can be cleaned no earlier than 1 month after painting. The most suitable cleaning method is water rinsing. Note that wet cleaning may slightly alter the surface tone, so it’s advisable to demarcate the area being cleaned. Before washing, remove any loose particles and dirt. For mold or algae removal, use Alg Mogelvatt and rinse thoroughly; always repaint the surface after mold treatment.

Transportation and Storage

Store in a dry, cool place in unopened original packaging. Protect from frost. The shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
