Usage

Surface preparation and application conditions

Ensure the wood surface is clean and completely dry, with a moisture content between 12-16%. The air, surface, and material temperature must be above +5°C, and the relative humidity during application and drying should be below 80%. If black mould or algae stains are present, treat the surface with an anti-mould disinfectant, rinse thoroughly with water, and allow it to dry completely before oiling.

Application

Stir the oil thoroughly in the can before use. Apply generously using a brush or by dipping. The oil must be completely absorbed into the wood without forming a film on the surface. Pay particular attention to the ends of boards, joints, and nail/screw placement points, applying several times until the wood no longer absorbs the oil. Clean any areas where the oil has not soaked in, particularly around knots, with a cloth soaked in white spirit. Do not apply in direct sunlight or on excessively heated surfaces, as rapid solvent evaporation reduces deep penetration of the oil.

Maintenance

Clean treated surfaces with a soft brush and water, optionally adding a small amount of mild detergent.

Storage

Store in a dry and cool place in unopened original packaging. The product has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture.
