The Renner FL-M725/–C02 is a two-component polyurethane white base coat designed for professional woodworkers and industrial coating specialists who demand performance and efficiency. This primer creates the perfect, stable foundation for subsequent PU or nitrocellulose topcoats, ensuring a high-quality final appearance. Application Guide:

1. Substrate Preparation:
– Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or grease.
– Sand the substrate thoroughly with 180 grit abrasive paper.
2. Product Preparation & Mixing Ratios:
Before use, verify and homogenize the product to redisperse any sediment.

– 50 parts – FC-M042 Hardener
– 20 parts – DF-M001 (DF-M002) Thinner
By Volume:
– 100 parts – FL-M725/–C02 Base Coat

3. Application:
– Apply using a conventional air gun, airless, air-mix system, or curtain coater.
– Maintain an interval of 1 to 3 hours between coats.

Drying Times (at 20°C, 45-65% RH, 100 g/m²):

• Dust Free: 30 minutes
• Touch Free: 60 minutes
• Sandable / Overcoatable: 12 hours
• Stackable: 12 hours

Forced Drying Schedule (100 g/m²):

• Flash Off: 15 minutes at room temperature
• Laminar Air: 60 minutes at 50°C
• Cooling: 15 minutes at room temperature

Recommendations & Notes:

• An application test is always recommended, especially for substrates subjected to strong handling or low-density MDF.
• For improved wettability, an alternative thinner (DF-M005) can be added up to 20% by weight.
• Overcoat with professional PU or nitro topcoats for a complete system.
