Usage

Application Conditions: Ensure the surface to be treated is dry and has a wood moisture content below 20%. Pressure-treated wood is recommended to be treated approximately 6 months after installation. During treatment and drying, the air, surface, and wood stain temperatures must be at least +5°C, and the relative humidity must be below 80%.

Surface Preparation:

• Untreated Surfaces: Clean the wood surface thoroughly from dirt, dust, and loose material. Wash moldy wood surfaces with a suitable cleaner according to instructions.
• Previously Treated Surfaces: Remove loose material using a scraper and/or wire brush. Clean the surface, and if necessary, wash it. If a visible film remains on the surface, remove it completely before treatment.

Application: Stir Valtti Plus Terrace Oil thoroughly before and periodically during use. Spread the oil thinly and evenly with a brush or sponge, ensuring uniform absorption into the wood. Wipe off any excess oil. Apply evenly along the entire length of the board in continuous strokes to avoid overlapping. Apply one or two coats as needed, with the second coat applied 12 hours after the first.

Maintenance: Treatment should be performed as needed. Surfaces continuously exposed to weathering may require more frequent treatment, potentially annually or every two years. Tools can be cleaned with water and soap.
