Rio Verde RP2260 matt lacquer forms a flexible, wear-resistant coating that effectively protects surfaces from everyday stresses, scratches and impacts.

• RP1160: Semi-Glossy with gloss level 50.
• RP2260: Matt with a gloss level of 20.

Directions for use:

Mix the product thoroughly before use.

1. Young, untreated wood:

   • Sand untreated wood with 150 grit sandpaper and remove dust.

   • Apply 3 coats of RPxx60 varnish 2-4 hours apart. Sanding between coats is not necessary.

   • To improve performance: apply one coat of RP1060 Grain Filler followed by 2 coats of RPxx60 Varnish.

2. Pre-varnished wood (in good condition):

   • Lightly sand the surface with 240-280 grit sandpaper.

   • Clean the surface thoroughly and apply a coat of varnish.

3. Pre-varnished wood (poor condition):

   • Sand the surface with 80-150 grit sandpaper to completely remove the old coating and expose clean wood.

   • Clean the surface and finish as for new, untreated wood.
