Tikkurila Temalac FD 80 Alkyd Topcoat, Gloss Finish, Fast Drying

Tikkurila Temalac FD 80 is a fast-drying, one-component glossy alkyd topcoat, perfect for workshops and on-site painting with quick production cycles.

Even in rural conditions, it provides a durable, high-gloss finish with excellent color retention. This topcoat has a proven track record and has been used in hundreds of projects, ensuring its reliability and suitability for electrostatic painting. It is ideal for steel structures, service platforms, machinery, and equipment.

This topcoat is designed for application to primed surfaces, including those primed with Temaprime EE, Temaprime EUR, or Temaprime GF. For optimal results, ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and contaminant-free. Apply when the ambient air, surface, and paint are at least +5°C, and humidity is below 80%. For airless spraying, thin 15–20% to 30-40s (DIN4) viscosity, using a 0.011″-0.015″ nozzle tip at 120-180 bar. For conventional spraying, thin 20-30% to 20-25s (DIN4) with a 1.4-1.8 mm nozzle tip at 3-4 bar. Suitable for “wet-on-wet” spraying techniques.
