How-To Steps

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the wooden surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt or loose material. The ambient temperature should be at least +5°C.
2. Priming: For new, bare wood, apply a coat of Tikkurila priming oil first for best results and longevity. Spot prime any bare areas on previously painted surfaces.
3. Application: Stir the Vinha paint thoroughly before use. Apply one or two even coats using a brush or spray. For light colours on pressure-treated wood, two or three coats may be needed.
4. Drying & Recoating: Allow the paint to dry for approximately 2 hours before applying a second coat if required. The paint will reach its final hardness in about four weeks.

Recommendations

For a uniform colour, ensure you have enough tinted paint from the same batch for one continuous surface. Pay special attention to treating the end grains of the wood. This product is not suitable for painting floors. Protect the container from frost during storage.
