• Old Coatings: Scrape away all loose and flaking paint. For surfaces previously painted with acrylics, remove as much of the old coating as possible. For unknown coatings or old linseed oil paint, prime with KOLOREX Primer Classic (solvent-based) to ensure adhesion and prevent blistering.
• Mold Removal: If mold or algae are present, treat the area with an appropriate anti-mold disinfectant, rinse thoroughly with water, and allow it to dry completely.

2. Priming:

• Untreated Wood: First, impregnate the wood, paying special attention to end grains and cut edges, with KOLOREX Priming Oil. Allow it to absorb fully.
• All Surfaces: After preparing and, if necessary, oiling the surface, apply one coat of primer. Use KOLOREX Primer Aqua (water-based) for faster drying or KOLOREX Primer Classic (solvent-based) for maximum penetration and adhesion.

3. Paint Application:

• Stir KOLOREX Wood Paint Matt thoroughly before use.
• Apply 2-3 thin, even coats using a high-quality brush, roller, or spray gun.
• Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next (2-4 hours at +23°C).
• Avoid painting in direct, strong sunlight or on surfaces heated by the sun.
