Usage

Processing Instructions:

Always stir the product well before use. The product is ready to use. Ensure the product, object, and room temperature are at least +10 °C. Apply the product and allow a short time to take effect, then carefully wipe off any excess with a cotton cloth or gauze in the direction of the wood fiber. It is crucial to avoid film formation. Due to the high solids content, one application is generally sufficient. Ensure uniform wood sanding and even product application. For inner surfaces of furniture and cabinets, apply a maximum of one thin coat due to possible odors.

Substrate Preparation:

• Furniture: Graduated wood sanding, grit size 180 – 240.
• Wooden and Parquet Floors: Graduated wood sanding, grit size 100 – 150.
• Always remove sanding dust thoroughly before application.

Important Recommendations:

• For hardwoods and tropical woods rich in active substances, we strongly recommend a test treatment with Legno Hartwachsöl (7002) before proceeding with the full application.
• Optimal application conditions are between 20-25 °C with a relative humidity between 40-60%.
• For trade applications, to improve mechanical and chemical resistance, Legno Hartwachsöl (7002) can be hardened at a 3:1 ratio with Legno Hardener (7084). Stir the hardener component carefully into the oil. Pot life is 8 hours. We advise against using Legno Hardener (7084) with white shades due to a risk of slight yellowing.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

• Cleaning Equipment: Immediately after use, clean with Legno-Reiniger (7003) or Adlerol-Terpentinölersatz (7231).
• Cleaning Treated Surfaces: Clean with water, Clean-Möbelreiniger (7202), Clean-Parkettreiniger (7207), or a mild household cleaner. Cleaning should be carried out at the earliest 14 days after oil/wax/hard wax oil application. For greasy stains, use Legno Reiniger (7003). Abrasive cleaning agents should not be used.
• Maintenance: For freshening up and aftercare, apply 1x Legno Pflegeöl (7009) and wipe off any excess.
