Rio Verde RX5007 Cherry tree Exclusive 1 Matt Wood Protectant is an innovative all-in-one solution for finishing and restoring wood surfaces. It is designed to provide professional results with one product, replacing the need for multiple finishing steps and materials. Suitable for both hardwood and softwood, it is ideal for a variety of wood surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.

What is Rio Verde Exclusive 1?
Exclusive 1 is a high-tech, water-based resin blend that penetrates deep into the wood rather than forming a film on the surface. Its unique, self-consuming formula ensures that the coating wears naturally over time without cracking or peeling. This makes it much easier to maintain and renew the surface in the future, as no complete sanding of the old layer is required.

Main advantages

• Special UV+ absorbers and filters stop UV radiation, protecting wood lignin from degradation and preserving the natural beauty of the wood. It is resistant to adverse weather conditions.
• Natural aesthetic appearance: the protectant forms a homogeneous, matt coating that enhances the natural texture of the wood and does not form a thick, artificial film.
• Thanks to its self-consuming formula, surface maintenance and restoration is quick and easy, without the need for pre-sanding.
• Fast drying: The coating dries quickly, allowing work to be carried out efficiently and in a short time.
• Anti-slip properties: Special molecules in the formulation give indoor and outdoor floors excellent anti-slip properties, increasing safety.

Directions for use:

Mix the product thoroughly before use.

1. Sand the surface with 150 grit sandpaper. Remove sanding dust and apply 2-3 coats of product.
2. Stained/impregnated wood: If the surface has been treated with a stain or low solids impregnant, it may be coated with RX50xx. Clean the surface, lightly sand with sandpaper or abrasive (scotch brite), remove dust and apply 2-3 coats of product.
3. Previously painted wood: Sand the surface with 80-150 grit sandpaper, completely removing the old coating down to the untreated wood. Clean the surface and apply 2-3 coats of product.
4. Indoor floors: Treat according to surface condition, following the above instructions.

Maintenance:
For surfaces not subject to heavy use, clean regularly to remove dust and grease and apply 1-2 new coats of product as necessary. For worn surfaces, light sanding and 2-3 new coats. It is recommended to clean the surface with a neutral detergent RR1050 before treatment.

Important! The untinted version (RX5000) does not contain iron oxides and therefore does not provide the same level of protection as the tinted versions. It is not recommended for use on white surfaces.
