Usage

Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, sound, and free of dust, dirt, chalk, grime, grease, oil, wax, mildew, or any contaminants that interfere with adhesion. Wash surfaces with an appropriate cleaning solution if unsure. Remove any unsoundly adhered coatings and sand the remaining paint film edges smooth. Lightly sand exposed exterior wood (80-100 grit) to remove loose fibers. Treat mildew with a suitable killer (e.g., Rust-Oleum FK 111) and remove rust from metal with a cleaner (e.g., Rust-Oleum ND14). For wood, spot prime knots with Zinsser® B-I-N Primer-Sealer before applying Bulls Eye 1-2-3 to the full surface.

Directions for Use: Stir the product thoroughly before and during application to ensure uniform consistency. Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 10°C and 32°C, and relative humidity is between 10% and 70%. Substrate moisture content should not exceed 12%.

Application & Thinning:

• Brush: Use a high-quality nylon, polyester, or synthetic brush. Do not dilute.
• Roller: Use a nylon, polyester, or synthetic roller. Do not dilute.
• Airless Spray: Tip size 0.015-0.017 inches. Fluid pressure 140 – 175 bar. Do not dilute.
• Air-Atomised Spray: Dilute with up to 10% water. Atomizing pressure 2 – 4 bar.

Cleaning of Equipment: Clean tools and spills immediately with warm water. If tools dry with paint on them, soak them overnight in a 1:4 ammonia-to-water solution.

Important Notes: ZINSSER® BULLS EYE 1-2-3 is not designed for blocking heavy water stains or for application on floors, decks, roof surfaces, or any surface subject to immersion or prolonged contact with water. It can be tinted with up to 16 ml of universal color paste per liter.
