Usage

Recommended Applications: Ideal for interior walls, ceilings, trim, and doors in high-humidity areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, basements, laundry rooms, and pool areas. Perfect for institutional and commercial use in schools, hospitals, and hotels where mould and mildew are concerns.

Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, sound, and free from dirt, dust, grease, wax, and loose paint. Remove all existing mould and mildew prior to painting. For severe stains (rust, tannin, grease), use an appropriate stain-blocking primer like Zinsser B-I-N or Bulls Eye 1-2-3.

Application Conditions: Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 10°C and 32°C, and humidity is below 80%. Stir the paint thoroughly before use to ensure homogeneity.

Application Methods:

• Brush: Use a high-quality synthetic bristle brush. Do not dilute.
• Roller: Use a good-quality roller. Do not dilute.
• Airless Spray: Use a 017-013 nozzle at 140-180 bars pressure. Do not dilute.
• Air-Atomised Spray: If necessary, dilute with water to a maximum of 10%.

Recoating & Curing: Apply a second coat at least 2 hours after the first. Two coats are required for optimal performance and mould/mildew resistance. Allow 5-7 days for scrape resistance to develop on glossy surfaces. Do not scrub the newly painted surface for seven days.

Limitations: Not suitable for floors, surfaces subject to water immersion, or prolonged water contact (e.g., inside shower enclosures, saunas, steam rooms). This product does not protect against food-borne or disease-causing bacteria.

Cleaning: Clean tools and spills immediately with water.
